Adidas Celebrates McGrady’s 13 Points in 33 Seconds

Adidas hasnâ€t forgotten about when T-Mac scored 13 points in 33 seconds, and theyâ€re commemorating Tracy McGradyâ€s big game with a San Antonio Spurs-themed T-Mac 5. 

On December 9th, 2004, McGrady dropped 33 points on the Tim Duncan-led Spurs, putting on one of the greatest offensive sequences the NBA has ever seen. The Houston Rockets were down 68 to 76 with 35 seconds left in regulation and the game was, essentially, over. But somebody forgot to give T-Mac the memo. He flipped a switch and went on a 13-point run, willing his team to victory, 81 to 80.

This Adidas T-Mac 5 has a muted black nubuck and glossy metallic silver upper, identical to the Spurs†uniforms the night of the performance. McGradyâ€s number “1” is on the heel, and “13/33” is printed on the tongue to let everyone know what he’s capable of. The sneaker is finished with a black and grey outsole.
