adidas Football has announced a long-term partnership with one of Europe’s most prestigious national teams across men’s, women’s, and youth football. The Italian National Team will begin wearing adidas across all of its kits under the Italian Football Federation, including futsal, beach football, e-sports, and any form of footy that dons the Azzurri crest.
For the second time in the federation’s history, the Three Stripes will be worn alongside The Blues. adidas and Italy first linked up in 1974-1978. Before the current adidas deal, PUMA sponsored the Italian National Team since 2004, which included the nation’s fourth World Cup championship in 2006 and the recent crowing of Europe’s best in the 2021 UEFA Euros.
The adidas and Italian National Team partnership begins in January 2023. Italy will still don its current PUMA kits in the 2022 Qatar World Cup later this year should the team qualify.
