After years of teases and press releases, adidas is almost ready to unveil its fully-recyclable sneaker, the FUTURECRAFT Ultra Boost DNA LOOP. The shoe is made up of entirely recycled material and is intended to be returned to designated adidas facilities to be ground up and repurposed for future DNA LOOP sneakers. adidas is letting 1,500 lucky members of the adidas Creator Club test drive a personal pair of shoes for 21 weeks. adidas will then compile data from this program in order to further enhance future iterations of the shoe prior to its official launch in 2021.
