adidas & Prada Announce “Re-Source,” a User-Generated NFT Project

The adidas and Prada partnership doubles down by immersing itself into the Metaverse with the help of its fans. The adidas x Prada “Re-Source” project will be created through user-generated & creator-owned art inspired by the recently released adidas x Prada collab.

“adidas and Prada reward holders of adidas Originals Into the Metaverse NFTs and bridge the gap for a new community of creators to join the innovative world of web3,” adidas’ site states. “Introducing adidas for Prada re-source: a first-of-its-kind NFT project featuring creator-owned art, in collaboration with digital artist Zach Lieberman. The project facilitates the education of new communities from art, fashion, and beyond — while rewarding participants for their creation with a share of the final artwork auction sale.”

The latest from adidas continues to Three Stripes integration into the next digital frontier, following the brand’s NFT collab with Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Users with a digital wallet who are interested can send in a photograph that uses a filter designed by Lieberman starting on January 24. 3,000 submissions will be chosen, 1,000 of which will be reserved for holders of adidas Originals’ Into the Metaverse NFT, 500 of which will be reserved for people who failed to purchase the Into the Metaverse NFT and the other 1,500 of which are completely open. If your selected, you’ll be able to mint your photo as an NFT for free from January 26 to January 27 and Lieberman’s project will available for auction from January 28 to January 31.
