adidas has unveiled its latest innovation in running footwear with its upcoming adidas adizero adios Pro sneakers. While the name is surely a long one, what’s important is the modern reinvention of the brand’s performance footwear. Featuring a lightweight textile upper alongside upgrades in the midsole technology, the shoe amplifies the wearer’s comfort and performance for long-distance running.
Underneath its white upper with orange Three-Stripes branding lies the heart of the adizero adios Pro, the LightStrikePRO foam midsole – the brand’s lightest foam material. Inside this extra-thick midsole lies another technical improvement: the addition of five carbon-fiber pipes – “EnergyRods” – which add further strength to a curved plate within the midsole that helps propel its user forward while maintaining balance.
The adizero adios Pro drops June 30th.
