Air Dior Raffle Reached Five Million Entries In One Day

The Air Dior’s release was without a doubt the most popular sneaker raffle of the year, as confirmed by Christian Dior Couture’s CEO Pietro Beccari. In an interview with WWD, Beccari revealed that when all the entries for the Air Dior Highs ($2400 USD) and Lows ($2000 USD)  on June 25th were calculated there were five million entries placed. This number takes into account the international Dior website’s raffle and China’s WeChat based lottery system for the shoes’ release. Winners were contacted yesterday and given instructions on how to purchase their chosen model and size from select Dior retail locations.

Beccari revealed that there were 8000 pairs made for the purchase and another 5000 that were given to VIP customers, celebrities, and influencers prior to launch. If you missed out on the luxury drop, the Air Dior apparel collection is set to launch July 8th and – while expensive and limited – will be more widely available in comparison.
