Following the release of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom ‘Fearless’ earlier this year, the brand is once again combining Zoom Air cushioning in their AJ1 line with the upcoming AJ1 High Zoom ‘Racer Blue’, releasing March 14th.
The typical lifestyle-oriented Nike Air unit concealed in the AJ1’s heel is now replaced the Zoom Air system, a cushioning usually reserved for Nike’s performance sneakers.
The ‘Racer Blue’ AJ1 High Zoom is about more than just this cushioning though, arriving in a wholly unique colorway. The upper is composed of both patent and regular leather in a two-toned Neutral Grey/white while an iridescent tread, transparent ankle flaps, and a Racer Blue lining make the sneaker a standout colorway.
