The Air Jordan 12 took flight in 1997. Created by Tinker Hatfield for his Airness, the Air Jordan 12 delivered.
During the playoffs and the ’97 title run, Michael Jordan donned the iconic “Flu Game” 12s and the “Playoffs” iteration, which recently returned in OG form. The “Taxi” colorway also joined the ‘96-’97 lineup. While a “Taxi” retro isn’t in the plans following the 2013 reappearance, the brand is spinning the classic colorway on the upcoming Air Jordan 12 offering.
The upcoming Air Jordan 12 “Black Taxi” is an all-black remix of the OG “Taxi” colorway. The “Black Taxi” AJ12 arrives in an all-black leather upper with gold hits for an elegant look.
The Air Jordan 12 “Black Taxi” is expected to release on December 3 for $200 on SNKRS and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
