Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” Drops All-Star Weekend

In recent years, Jordan Brand has used its Reimagined series to remix some of its most popular silhouettes, from the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement” to the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Royal” and the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago.” Next up on the list will be the Air Jordan 4 “Bred,” and the leather upper won’t be the only update. Like the upcoming “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4, this drop is expected to feature the same tooling as the “Pine Green” Nike SB x AJ4 collaboration.

During the 1989 NBA All-Star Game, Michael Jordan debuted the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cement,” aka “Bred” colorway, dropping 28 points as the Eastern Conference fell to the West, 134 to 143. MJ torched the league throughout the rest of the season and broke the hearts of the Cleveland Cavaliers when he floated over Craig Echo to hit “The Shot,” advancing to the Conference Semifinals.

The original “Bred” sneaker incorporated black nubuck throughout the upper. However, Jordan Brand will substitute the nubuck for leather in the next iteration.

The Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” will hit shelves on February 17th for $210 and can be found on the Nike SNKRS app and at select retailers. Stay tuned for the official images.
