Since 1989, the Air Jordan 4 has become a masterpiece through its original colorways, new iterations, and a plethora of thoughtful collaborations. Decades later, the AJ4 in sneaker culture is as prominent as ever.
Jordan Brand continues its next-level storytelling tradition on the AJ4 as the latest colorway pays homage to Phil Jackson during his Bulls coaching days. As we saw in The Last Dance, Phil Jackson was a believer in meditation and practicing zen, whether through Buddhism teachings or other methods. Hence, the “Zen Master” colorway.
The upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master” is constructed with a mystic amethyst colorway across the shoe’s canvas upper, while black, white, and grey details are found throughout the rest of the shoe. The AJ4 also features translucent TPU wings, and “Zen Master” is located on the inside of the tongue.
The Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master” releases on March 19 for $210 at select retailers and SNKRS. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
