Jordan Brand introduced the world to the “Concord” colorway with the help of Tinker Hatfield, Michael Jordan, and the iconic Air Jordan 11. Since the debut and retro runs of the Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” the colorway is nearly inseparable from the silhouette as well as Jordan’s legacy.
The Jumpman is looking to apply the “Concord” colorway to a different silhouette this time around as the brand continues to switch up its classic, such as the Air Jordan 7-inspired Air Jordan 6 “Bordeaux” from last year.
The Air Jordan 5 gets the “Concord” treatment this summer. Although no leaked images of the shoe have surfaced, the mock-up suggests that the Air Jordan 5 “Concord” is built with a white leather upper, a black midsole & lining, “Concord” hits on the Jumpman logos, midsole shark-teeth, lace lock, inner tongue, and includes the Air Jordan 5’s signature design elements — a reflective tongue and an icy outsole.
The Air Jordan 5 “Concord” is speculated to release on July 23 for $200 on SNKRS and select retailers. However, the release date has not been confirmed by the brand. As always, our monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
