August kicked off with a splash with Yeezy Day, but the Yeezy restock wasn’t the only thing popping off last week. Salehe Bembury joined forces with Vault by Vans for a trio of colorways of the Vans Authentic, Stussy remixed the Air Max 2013, and Tom Sachs restocked the General Purpose Shoe. - Yeezy 450 ‘Utility Black’: The only shoe on Yeezy Day to drop at boutiques simultaneously. The stock was good, which made this a pretty straightforward stock but was removed from stores with available stock. This is normal as it is Yeezy policy to send unsold pairs back to Adidas.
- Salehe Bembury x Vans Vault Authentic Collection: Dropped through Salehe’s website at https://beaspunge.com/. Password protected drop where the password was sent out to Newsletter Subscribers around 11:30 AM EST. The password was “kickpush123” and could be used to enter the website when the password was active at 12:01 PM EST. Straight forward drop despite no bot protection being used. Bigger sizes sold out within 5 minutes, but smaller ones are still in stock for all 3 colorways. Apparel is also still in stock.
- Thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002r & 1906R: Sold on https://intl.thisisneverthat.com/ today and dropping at other retailers on August 19th. Paypal was the only payment option. 1906R sold out in 3 minutes, 2002r in 10 minutes
- Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013: Password protected release, password page was up as early as 3 hours before release. 5-7 minute checkout queue and reCaptcha bot protection. T-shirts and hoodies were first to sell out, otherwise, all 3 colorways of the shoes and the rest of the apparel were left with a ton of stock.
- Jordan 5 ‘Dark Concord’: Straight forward cop despite middling stock. They are still in stock at a lot of the retailers that dropped them.
