August is off to a hot start, weather-wise and beyond. Recent collaborations were refreshed, with Patta dropping a ‘Dark Russet’ colorway of its popular Nike Air Max 1 ‘The Wave’ collection and Joe Freshgoods adding a 574 to his New Balance ‘Conversations Amongst Us’ line. Some classics also returned with the Air Jordan 7 ‘Citrus’ and Nike Air Max Penny 1 ‘Orlando,’ seeing retro releases as well. Here’s a breakdown of how each drop went down.
- Kaws Chum Figurines: Dropped through kawsone.com as a Password Protected release with reCaptcha bot protection. Five different colors, US shipping only, and billing and shipping had to match. Straight forward cop with the black (sold out in 231.86 seconds) and the white (sold out in 381.63 seconds) figures being the first to sell out. The remaining stock was pulled when the website re-entered password protection at 12:47 PM EST
- Air Max Penny 1 ‘Orlando’: Stock was low, but demand was high. Early morning 8 AM EST drops all sold out within 20 seconds.
- New Balance 574 ‘Conversations Amongst Us’: Straight forward drop despite lower stock. Boutique retailer stock was low, with New Balance USA carrying the most stock at 2110 pairs. Sold with no queue through New Balance US and New Balance Canada, still in stock at some retailers.

- Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 (Boutique Drops): Pink and Fossil Pairs were Stussy & SNKRS exclusive, so only the black pair dropped through Boutiques. Shoes were a straightforward cop and are still in stock at most of the boutiques that dropped them; Stussy x Nike T-shirt was the hardest item to cop as most stores received limited inventory.
- Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Each One, Teach One’: Dropped with password protection, and shoes were loaded onto a secret website called http://teachone.nl/. SoleSavy analysts were able to determine the secret website early and informed members 5 minutes before the drop giving SoleSavy members an edge. Nike x Patta apparel dropped as well as the shoes. hCaptcha protection was used, but the queue was never active. Shoes are still available on the regular Patta website
- Air Jordan 7 ‘Citrus’: Straight forward cop, pretty much every store that dropped them still has stock. Worth waiting for a possible sale before buying.

- “Dunk” continues to appear on the monitors in several colorways, including the popular ‘Panda’ Pair. Definitely worth having Dunks in your keywords to stay on top of these restocks
- “Nike Air Max Penny 1” With the lower stock on drop day, it could definitely be a possibility that we see retailers restock pairs. Most retailers have been listing under “Nike Air Max Penny 1,” so it’s a good keyword to try to catch any restocks.
- “Off-White” With Canary Yellow keeping a trend of restocking randomly, it’s worth keeping an eye on the brand with this keyword.
