Angelo Baque, the founder of AWAKE NY, is giving back in honor of Virgil in a profound way. Baque announced on Instagram that proceeds from the AWAKE NY x ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 release in Miami will be donated to “POST-MODERN,” a scholarship fund providing opportunities for Black creatives and founded by Virgil himself, and Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc., an organization that focuses on angiosarcoma research and awareness.
The AWAKE NY x ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 releases on December 2 at 5 PM – 7 PM, along with a capsule collection with Neon16 exclusively at UNKNWN in Miami.
