Since 1993, Japanese streetwear brand BAPE has been engrained into the intersection of fashion and sneaker culture. Though BAPE never really went away, its recent resurgence through its drops like the SK8 STA and collabs with footwear brands have brought the label back in a new light.
BAPE continues its relationship with Reebok through Club C 85 and the Instapump Fury. The upcoming BAPE x Reebok collection includes signature graphics and design with the help of Reebok classics. The BAPE x Reebok Club C 85 features the BAPE STA logo and is completed with red and blue stitching. The BAPE x Reebok Instapump Fury is designed with the legendary BAPE camo in various colors and includes the ape head on the shoe’s “Pump.”
In addition to the footwear, the Reebok x BAPE campaign is headlined by Bryson Tiller, Ryan Trey, and Nia Sultana. Bryson’s longtime collaborator, Ro.Lexx, led all photography for the footwear and apparel.
The BAPE x Reebok Club C 85 ($150) and the BAPE x Reebok Instapump Fury ($200) will be available globally in BAPE locations and on US.BAPE.COM on January 15. The collection will see a wider release on Reebok.com and select retailers on January 21 at 10 AM ET. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
