Bodega x New Balance X-Racer All-Terrain Sneakers Release June 25th

This summer, Boston based brand Bodega is returning to its New Balance partnership with a brand new, collaborative hiking sneaker. Entitled the Bodega x New Balance X-Racer All-Terrain, this chunky, earth-toned shoe is set to release June 25.

Featuring rope laces for extra security and an extended, spiked tread outsole the Bodega X-Racer is a far cry from the brand’s New Balance collaborations. Shoes like the Bodega NB 997 “No Bad Days”, while similar in color scheme, were far more of a lifestyle/running model. Like those coveted 997s however, this shoe features an earth-toned upper in various of brown, beige, and gray, with splashes of color added in the least expected of places. Purple outlining on the tongue and heel, as well as teal piping around the lace stays and ankle, are some of the most obvious elements but there are hits of teal and pink all throughout the detailing.

The classic “N” logo is only featured on the medial panels of the shoe and is done in a bright pink while the lateral portion of the shoes features a variation of the “N” logo done in three pieces of stitched, brown fabric.  Contrasting hits of pink and teal can be found on the mudguard, laces, and exterior portions of the tread, all atop an Abzorb midsole
