Casablanca and New Balance have more on the way. Following the successful releases of the 327 and 237, the French-Moroccan label is taking its rich designs and aesthetic and showcasing it with the help of New Balance. The latest project takes on the XC-72, “a brand new silhouette inspired by the world of racing,” as highlighted by Casablanca’s Instagram.
The design of the XC-72 is rooted in legacy and New Balance’s roots with its sleek design, enlarged N, and three separate outsole tread patterns that heritage New Balance models inspire. The upcoming Casablanca x New Balance Xc-72 will release in two colorways. The signature orange and green from previous capsules will accompany the red, yellow, and black iteration inspired by race cars.
The limited-edition collaboration will launch exclusively on Casablanca’s site on August 27, with the New Balance global launch on August 28. The release will also be available at selected retailers globally for $150. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
