‘Tis the season for giving. Here at SoleSavy, we’re thankful for all of our members, but we want to take the time to spotlight one in particular, Soosh, who has been handing out assists like LaMelo Ball on a fast break.

In just over a year, Soosh has racked up over 100 sneaker assists for his fellow community members. “I like taking the time to help others because who doesn’t like helping folks out? Also, I love the chase of copping sneakers and quite honestly giving assists allows me to get that rush and not take up my ever decreasing closet space,” said Soosh.

That’s the spirit that makes the SoleSavy community so special. We’re here for each other at every turn, connected by our affinity for sneakers.

With so many assists dished over the year, it’s natural that a few have found their way to Soosh as well. The community has helped him secure Yeezy Slides and Sacai x Nike LD Waffles for his wife. He even had someone throw him a lob on a pair that released while he was sleeping.

“To me being able to give assists in our group with the mentality of “I’ll send it to you now, and I’ll just get the payback via an assist in the future [is what it’s all about]” said Soosh. “It really is a community, you get out what you put in.”

Big shoutout to Soosh for spreading the love and helping others by putting up ‘06 Steve Nash numbers. If you see Soosh in Slack, don’t be afraid to connect. In addition to sneakers, he loves some good BBQ. He swears by the beef rib at Louie Mueller’s in Taylor, TX.
