Dallas Mavericks Bringing in Nike Exec Nico Harrison to Front Office

The Dallas Mavericks have officially added Nike executive Nico Harrison to its front office, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

The addition of Harrison is big for the Mavericks and its star Luka Dončić as Harrison was reportedly responsible for Doncic’s transition from Nike to Jordan Brand, which has blossomed into him getting his own logo and player-exclusive colorways that have hit the market, including the Jordan Brand “Cosmic Deception” pack.

The move goes beyond bringing in someone Dončić trusts as Harrison’s reputation in managing deals, understanding contracts, having an eye for talent and much more easily translates to the hardwood. In addition to that, Harrison’s work with Nike has earned him the respect of agents and players (including the late Kobe Bryant) alike, which can only aid the Mavericks in the years to come as the organization looks to add another championship.

With the addition of Harrison finalized, we can expect the organization to make some winning moves during the offseason.
