Deadstock Coffee’s Ian Williams Joins Nike as ‘Live from the Archive’ Host

Ian Williams has a long history in the sneaker industry. The founder of Portland’s Deadstock Coffee made a name for himself by moving up the ranks at Nike from a janitor to the designer of the iconic ‘Wet Floor” Dunks that paid homage to his time cleaning the headquarters.

Now, everything has come full circle as the ‘Sneaker Barista’ has once again accepted a position with the Swoosh but this time in front of the camera. Today on his Instagram, Williams announced that he would be joining the Nike team once more as the host of the ‘Live from the Archive’ series on the SNKRS app.

Not only is he back with the Swoosh, but his tenure also begins today as he takes the stage at 2 PM Beaverton time to talk with long-time Nike designer Wilson Smith III
