I’m hearing from multiple stores across North America that they are now starting to receive inventory that they should have had 6 months ago. They’re swamped and don’t know what to do with it ahead of BF/CM. This is generally going to be inline product (aka GRs) but I suspect launch product will be included in that as well. There were far too many low heat launch products that sold out and resold. We have seen a lot randomly drop at one or two stores but not have a firm release date.
The downside to an influx of product to stores is the strain it puts on their warehousing and financials to pay Nike on time with their terms. I would not be the least bit surprised if restocks pop off to end the year as stores look to move inventory quickly. This does not include any major collaborations.
My advice as it has been all year is to sit back and wait for restocks and proper releases. There has only been a few rare instances this year where buying resell early has been a good idea. Prices continue to drop across the spectrum and patience is key!
