Drop Alerts – FAQ

Store-specific Questions

When I tap into a restock from Social Status, APB, AMM, Feature, or Extra Butter I get redirected to their product page or to an empty cart. Why is that?

All of these sites use Shopify to power their raffles. If you get a restock notification and it doesn’t take you to checkout, odds are that they have just started/closed their raffle. The stock is being loaded on their backend and that will prompt a monitor ping.

When I tap into a restock from DTLR I get redirected to their product page. Why is that?

DTLR uploads a product page ahead of the release, which notifies our monitors. Please be aware that because of this process, you may not receive a Drop Alert from DTLR at the time of the actual release. In these situations, please refer to the ATC links provided in your Slack community ahead of the release.

Why does Dover Street Market (DSM) and Nice Kicks always sell out instantly?

DSM and Nice Kicks are notorious for not using bot protection, which doesn’t allow manual user’s much chance as bots will eat up stock quickly.

How do I know if a store is using bot protection?

During a release you will be redirected to a page that requires you to do some form of test to verify your humanity. This can be in the form of hCaptcha, reCaptcha or answer a skill testing question. This test is done before going to your cart and waiting in the queue.

Tapping on notifications for certain sites such as All The Right and Undefeated takes me to the account login page instead. Why is that?

Certain stores require you to login before allowing you to checkout. We recommend creating an account with these stores right away and saving the login to your device’s autofill to ensure you can login quickly during a restock. If you are expecting a timed release on either website we recommend logging into your account in advance of drop time.

When I tap on a notification from Canary Yellow, it takes me to an empty cart. What should I do instead?

Canary Yellow’s page setup works differently from Shopify sites and does not allow you to tap the size and head straight to checkout. Instead, when you are on the product page, tap the “View” button next to the price and it will take you to the product page. From there, add your size manually and then head to checkout.

Common DROPS App Questions

My account is appearing as ‘Basic’ after I’ve paid for Mobile+/Premium access.

If you are on Android, please try tapping the ‘Restore Purchases’ button found underneath this graphic:

If your access is still showing as Basic afterward, contact support@solesavy.com.

If you are on iOS, try logging out and back in and confirm if the app still recognizes your subscription as Basic. If nothing has changed, please contact support@solesavy.com.

I am not getting any notifications for my keywords, why is that?

As our monitors experience constant communication with 460+ online stores dropping products, we recommend the following steps to best optimize your Drop Alerts experience:

If you see an alert in your feed for a keyword you have but did not receive a notification for, it is because the product did not restock in your size.

If you are still experiencing a lack of notifications over an extended period of time, please contact support@solesavy.com and include a screenshot(s) of your entire list of keywords.

My feed in the DROPS tab is not showing correctly, why is that?
