DTLR x New Balance 2002R for “Lovers Only”

DTLR returns to New Balanceâ€s kitchen and cooks another company-exclusive 2002R colorway for “Lovers Only.” The two have previously worked on the New Balance 990v3, 992, and 2002R, with the upcoming collaboration getting its inspiration from the state of love, Virginia. 

The overlays across the upper are grey and black suede with multiple accents spread throughout the sneaker. With Virginiaâ€s road markers and state flag in mind, the silhouette incorporates shades of blue and red on the “N” emblem and adds a dash of yellow to the heel representing highway lines. Weâ€ll receive two sets of laces, tying everything together – one in creme and the other in royal blue. 

Virginia native or not, these would crack any summertime sneaker rotation.
