Earlier this month, EA Sports revealed that Josh Allen, superstar quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, will be the cover athlete for Madden 24, and the surprises keep coming. To build hype surrounding the latest installment of the Madden franchise, EA Sports enlisted the help of Nike to create the “Play Like Mad” Air Max 90.

Even if you aren’t a fan of the football series, you can enjoy this Madden-themed Air Max 90, full of references to America’s Game. On the quarter panel, Nike uses brown pebbled leather reminiscent of a football, and the dark brown mudguard has this year’s mantra debossed in it. And you can’t have a Madden sneaker without EA Sports branding on the tongue or the NFL badge hidden in the insole. Both shoes feature a white line stretching from the toebox to the tongue, mimicking lines on the field. Moving to the midsole, you’ll find the vibrant and visually pleasing Air unit, balancing the blue housing with red pillars.
Madden 24 releases on August 18th, so we suspect the EA x Nike Air Max 90 “Play Like Mad” will retail around the same time.
