Eames and Reebok continue their partnership, rooted in creativity and heritage.
Following last year’s Eames x Reebok “Monotone” collaboration, the prestigious design house and the footwear brand team up once more on the Club C. Much like the first capsule, the upcoming Eames x Reebok Club C “Composition & Dot Pattern” collection combines art and sneakers effortlessly.
The second installment draws inspiration from two staple Eames creations. Ray Eames’ Composition painting of 1939 inspires one of the pairs as it utilizes subtle natural tones on the Club C’s upper. The “Composition” colorway includes Ray’s handwritten signature. The second Club C pays homage to Eames’ Dot Pattern textile print that was considered but not submitted by the Eames Office to MoMA’s 1947 Competition for Printed Fabrics. Both pairs are housed in a special box, made to mirror the iconic Eames House — Case Study House No. 8.
The Eames x Reebok Club C “Composition & Dot Pattern” collection releases on March 17 at 10 a.m. EST, exclusively at EamesOffice.com, ahead of its March 18 wider release at 10 a.m. EST on Reebok.com and select retailers.
