Early Look: ASICS GEL-Lyte III By Sean Wotherspoon x atmos

We finally have a detailed look at Sean Worherspoon and atmos’ collaborative ASICS GEL-Lyte III. This ASICS sneaker is Wotherspoon’s first footwear project since leaving Nike.

Following suit with the design choices of the now classic Air Max 1/97, the ASICS GEL-Lyte III by Wotherspoon and atmos comes in the same colorblocked, corduroy construction.

On one foot, you have dark orange toebox is complimented by a light blue upper and a baby blue and orange heel. On the other, you have a darker color pallets, with purple, black, red and lavender colorblocking instead.

The main attraction however has to be the co-branded patches which attach to Velcro panelling on the medial sides of each sneaker. The patches include an atmos logo, five ASICS logos in red, blue, yellow, green, and black, and an insignia of Wotherspoon’s initials, allowing for a wide array of customization options.

Wotherspoon also has a 100% vegan material constructed adidas collaboration in the works as well. Read more about that here and stay tuned to Sole Savy for more news on both models’ releases.
