When adidas first introduced the Ultra Boost it took the sneaker world by storm overshadowing many of even the most popular Nike and Jordan releases of the time. While the market for them has cooled down considerably, the brand has prepared itself for the next chapter of the stylish runner’s future with the upcoming adidas Ultra Boost 2021.
Pushing the limits of the comfortable and responsive BOOST midsole to its limits, the Ultra Boost 2021 improves on the shoe’s technical specs in several key ways. Most notably the BOOST midsole is now significantly thicker in the heel portion allowing for better cushioning and propulsion during high-intensity sports. The 2021 iteration returns to the standard caging found on the OG 1.0 models with its transparent caging prominently displaying the Three-Stripes branding in a contrasting color. The choice of Primeknit patterning for the upper is also reminiscent of the original Ultra Boost. The three initial colorways previewed below are White/Neon Green, Blue/White, and White/Metallic Purple. Stay tuned to SoleSavy for further release details.
