(Updated) Early Look: Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design x Jordan Air Cadence

UPDATE (July 6, 2020): New photos of the Fragment Air Cadence have leaked online, scroll below for further images. No official photos or release date have been revealed as of yet.

Today we have a closer look at Japanese streetwear icon Hiroshi Fujiwara’s upcoming fragment design x Jordan Brand collaboration. Dubbed the “Jordan Air Cadence”, this beige, low-top basketball/lifestyle sneaker fits right at home with the slew of minimalist silhouettes and colorways from brands like New Balance and Nike that have proved all the rage this year.

In these leaked images, we can see a unique Jordan Air midsole reminiscent of the AJ 33s and 34s, with an engraved “AIR” logo on the heel. This white/grey midsole features black speckling and Fujiwara’s signature style code + “fragment design” text branding. A hairy, dark beige suede is applied on the heel and throughout the toebox and lace stays while the remainder of the upper is done a mixture of different gauge meshes. An oversized version of fragment’s iconic lightning bolt insignia is applied on the lateral side of the heel, giving these kicks an extra bit of flair.

Stay tuned to SoleSavy for future updates on this fragment x Jordan collab including official images. As usual, SoleSavy will have a member’s only guide on how to cop these for retail closer to the drop date.
