(Update) Early Look: Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 “White Hemp” & “Black Hemp”

(UPDATE September 8th, 2020): A second colorway of the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 has appeared. Done in triple-black dyed hemp the shoe features the same detailing as its lighter counterpart featured below.

Stüssy is having quite a year. From multiple Nike collaborations and even their own Birkenstock Boston and a capsule collection with Our Legacy, the streetwear giants are showing no signs of slowing down as we reach the final quarter of 2020. With an upper made entirely out of all-natural, undyed hemp, the latest project from Stüssy is Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration that exemplifies minimalist perfection.

Images leaked by IG user @earlygvng show the sturdy canvas-like construction used to great effect, with its eggshell white colored hemp embellished with embroidered detailing added to the stylish look. Stussy’s double-S logo is embroidered onto each toebox while the medial and lateral sides have the signature leather Swoosh replaced for a thicker embroidered one instead. The insole is also made of hemp, as is the heel tab. On the tongue, the usual “Nike Air” logo is instead replaced with a Stüssy label that lists out the lcoation of each of their flagship stores alongside a small Swoosh done in black. The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
