While Girl Don’t Cry already received the Nike SB treatment in the form of a Japanese-exclusive Dunk Low, Verdy’s other label, the punk-inspired Wasted Youth is slated to get its own later this year. Led by Japanese artist and graphic designer Verdy, Wasted Youth is far less world-renowned than GDC but doesn’t sacrifice any of its artistic qualities. Previewed by Verdy and Nigo affiliated Paulo Wallo, the shoe arrives in black leather and canvas upper with exposed stitching and patchwork paneling throughout. Medial Swooshes are replaced with a rose motif while the lateral Swooshes are removable exposing a white outline underneath. Silver hardware and “Wasted Youth” embroidery appear prominently on the heels. A special edition box is also revealed. Stay tuned for further information on the Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low.
