Episode #7 of Top 3: Andrea, Nea, Shay

author
Alijah Landing

Earlier this summer we debuted our new series, Top 3, on YouTube. Hosted by our own Tony Mui, the framework is simple. Participants show off three of their favorite sneakers. It can be straight heat or just something with a great story, they decide. Only rule, after you show a sneaker you must say with conviction…TALK TO ME NICE! This week, we have a pair of firsts for Top 3. This is our first episode featuring members of our amazing community. It’s also our first all-female episode and the ladies did not disappoint. Before you check it out, learn a little more about our participants.

Andrea

Peace up, A-town down. Andrea is a human resources assistant in Atlanta, GA. A chicken wing enthusiast (“can I get a lemon pepper order please?”), you can catch her vibin’ at concerts. People say she talks too fast, so make sure you’re listening because she ain’t repeating herself.

Nea

What’s that sound? It’s police sirens. Nea is a 911 dispatcher from the Bay Area. Her love of sneakers started with the Air Jordan 13 ‘Bred.’ Watch out, cause she’s got those Twitter fingers from her early days on NikeTalk and FemaleSneakerFiend.

Shay

A registered nurse from Virginia, Shay is repping the 757. There’s so much to say about the lovely Shay, that this short bio wouldn’t do her justice.

quotes

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
