Despite the shaky future of Nike’s partnership with mainline Fear of God, ESSENTIALS FoG is business as usual with a new Converse Chuck Taylor 70 due later this month.
Dropping February 26th, the updated hightop maintains the OG Chuck 70 shape and canvas upper but tweaks some choice design elements.
Lorenzo’s version features a thicker sole and elongated lace loops and laces, intended to wrap around the ankle of the sneaker. Rubber-stamped ESSENTIALS FoG branding adorns one heel while traditional the Converse logo is featured on the other.
