Initially teased in the Nike Basketball x Fear of God S/S ’19 lookbook, Jerry Lorenzo took to Instagram to confirm that those Friends & Family exclusive pair of Nike Air Fear of God Raids in two-toned black and white will be released to the general public sometime this year. He also confirmed a future Nike Basketball collaboration. This news comes fresh off the heels of a newly added release date for a triple black Air Fear of God 1.
According to Lorenzo, the F&F Raids will be slightly different in design to the ‘Black’ and ‘Light Bone’ release. While they’ll keep the general shape, materials, and double-stacked Air 180 unit, the straps will now be placed as to hide the elongated laces underneath in an attempt to make the sneaker appear like a slip-on. To further add to the excitement, Lorenzo also said that these monochrome Air Raids are his all-time favorite sneaker he’s ever worked on.
