Jordan Brand has made no secret about increasing its investment in women’s sports over the last few years, and now they’re taking the next step by adding a Jumpman to a WNBA uniform for the first time. The Jumpman makes its W debut on this year’s All-Star jerseys, featuring an outer space-inspired design. The uniforms use Dri-FIT ADV in a data-mapped pattern that was computationally mapped to meet the specific needs of the female body in motion.
Basketball fans will remember a similar milestone for Jordan Brand during the 2018 NBA All-Star game when the Jumpman first appeared on an NBA uniform. Since then, MJ’s logo has expanded to grace the jerseys of every NBA team, and we can only hope the same happens for WNBA teams. WNBA All-Star jerseys will be available on WNBAStore.com and at WNBA Live presented by U.S. Bank at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Michelob ULTRA Arena, and NBA Store 5th Avenue.
If you’re in Las Vegas for All-Star or summer league festivities, check out Jordan Brand’s Stage23, open to the public starting Friday, July 14 from 12 p.m. PT through 8 p.m. PT and then again on Saturday, July 15 from 12 p.m. PT through 8 p.m. PT.
