In 2004, Hello Kitty and the Swoosh were set to release a total of 1,000 collaborative pairs across four different styles. The retail release was scrapped, and only 12 pairs of each colorway were made and then gifted to friends & family. Nearly two decades after the OG colorways, Hello Kitty and Nike are back.
The upcoming Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto differs from the original colorways as a university blue upper with the Hello Kitty head pattern is found all over. A white TPU cage and a matching midsole are featured as well. Additionally, black, yellow, blue, and red details are also included. The Hello Kitty head is located on the heel as well. A co-branded insole and box complete the colorway.
The Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto is expected to release in May on SNKRS and at select retailers for $140. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
