Yes, you read that correctly. Messi, arguably the best football (soccer) player on the planet is helping Jordan Brand become even more popular globally. Messi is still the face of adidas soccer, but his recent signing to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) means the Argentine icon is now wearing the Jumpman across his chest, on his shorts, and even on his socks.
And last week, when he scored his first goal for the new club, the Jumpman was front and center. And when PSG took to social media to share the historic moment, his adidas boots were conveniently cropped out in the Instagram post that linked directly to the store to buy the new kit. From sold-out kicks and gear to having stars like Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, and now Messi rep the Jumpman on the pitch, Jordan Brand’s historic partnership with Paris couldn’t be going any better for them.
