n important Paypal policy update went into effect on August 1st. They have made it clear they will NOT offer buyer protection to anyone if they deem they are purchasing the product for the purpose of reselling. How they would figure this out is tough — I have ideas but good luck policing it — none the less, it impacts you if you are buying shoes and using Paypal to get protection.
We’ve added items intended for resale, including single item transactions or transactions that include multiple items, as items that will be ineligible for reimbursement under PayPal’s Buyer Protection.

My advice: if you are dealing with someone on Grailed or a 3rd party marketplace that you ask the seller to note in the Paypal invoice or somewhere where it can be on file that the item is for your personal use and not for resell.
