The Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 Will Release On Black Friday

UPDATE November 21, 2023: After initially releasing last weekend at ComplexCon, the Jae Tips x Saucony Shadow 2s will see a global launch on November 24.

Bronx-based multi-hyphenate Jae Tips earned himself collaboration of the year at the Footwear News Awards, and now he and Saucony are back with a colorful take on the Grid Shadow 2. His second collaboration follows the distinct design language used on many of his projects, including the “Remember Who Fronted” Griz Azura 2000, but he applied it to two different colorways this time. Both colorways use a combination of materials, and the “Party” colorway utilizes red, brown, tan, and green, while shades of blue and pink dominate the “Date” colorway.

The success of Jae Tips’ first Saucony sneaker was no surprise to those in the streetwear space, as he has released a series of coveted collaborations with Hat Club. To their credit, Saucony is no stranger to creator collaborations. The American sportswear brand released an “Originals Only” collection in 2017 with creators like Eddie Win. The sneakers retail for $150 and will be exclusively available onsite at the Saucony booth at ComplexCon on November 18-19th.
