Following December 2020’s acquisition of Shoe Palace, UK retailer JD Sports has made another huge move in the sneaker world today with their DTLR Villa acquisition, Reuters reports. JD Sports acquired the US-based retailer for $495M USD, seizing ownership of the brand’s 247 locations across the United States. DTLR’s co-CEOs Glenn Gaynor and Scott Collins will continue with their management positions unaffected. To date, JD Sports now owns FootPatrol, FinishLine, Cloggs, Shoe Palace, and DTLR Villa, growing their presence in the realm of sneakers, sportswear, and streetwear even further than ever before.
