Since this project fell through due to an incredibly tight timeline I want to share some insights with members…
You may remember a month or so ago we asked you if you would buy a sneaker exclusively through SoleSavy for an All-NBA caliber player. Well that player was Jimmy Buttler and the shoe was this Li Ning “Miami Vice” PE. They released in Asia in late May and then the plan was for SoleSavy to release it in North America 2 weeks later but it just didn’t work out. Members would have got first dibs of course! Timing and logistics were too hard to pull off ultimately.
I say this because while it didn’t happen, I believe it’s a step in the right direction for us. That an athlete of that caliber, his team and a brand would look at SoleSavy and want to work with us is a co-sign I greatly appreciate. They see what we’re about and want to support that movement. We’re going to keep pushing for new opportunities as the year goes on because sneakers belong in the hands of people like yourselves and we’re going to continue repping the community to the world.
