(Updated) JJJJound Teases Upcoming New Balance 992 Collaboration

(UPDATE July 7, 2020): JJJJound has teased another image of their New Balance 992 collaboration. Featuring the green pair, we can see that JJJJound branding has been added to the heel unlike their previous NB collab which only featured this logo on the insole.

Earlier this week, Montreal based brand JJJJound teased a sample of their upcoming Reebok collaboration and just when the world started to settle from their initial excitement Justin Saunders’ label shows off yet another sneaker collaboration in the works.

Pictured on official @JJJJound Instagram account with the caption “JJJJ2020”, an olive green New Balance 992 with cream laces, translucent midsole accenting and a grey tongue quickly captured the internet’s attention. While the full sneaker isn’t visible here it is clearly drawing from that familiar design language that brought the world JJJound’s coveted Vans collaboration with its similar shades of green.

The last time these brands partnered up was on an infamously limited pair of 990 v4s in brown suede. Found mainly on the feet of celebrities now, that JJJound x New Balance collab has reached aftermarket sales of around $2000 CAD.
