Long time collaborator with everyone from the likes of Kanye West to Converse, Chicago designer Don C is set to release his own ‘Just Don’ x Nike Air Force 1 High during All-Star Weekend, taking place in his hometown.
The Just Don AF1 Highs come in a shade bright blue and red accents just slightly darker than those which adorn the Chicago flag, and last year’s Off-White MCA AF1 Lows from fellow Chicago native Virgil Abloh.
Red, embroidered “JUST DON” branding replaces the classic Nike Air insignia on the heel cup and insole, while the metal AF1 lace tag now feature “Just” and “Don” instead of “AF1” on each pair respectively.
Other details include a luxurious, red satin interior, exposed red leather seams along the Swooshes and an embroidered Chicago flag behind the tongue further cements this sneaker as a true love letter to Don C’s hometown.
