Kobe 6 Grinch Release Recap

My release breakdown. Thereâ€s isnâ€t too much to say as a lot of this is rehash but….

Stock: All the stuff you saw online is wrong. It wasnt 600k worldwide, it wasnt 80k in North America. It was more like 22k in North America and maybe 60-80k worldwide This was stupid limited.

Donâ€t blame Nike…
As weâ€ve said a few times now, this shoe was ordered by stores last year and put into production before Kobeâ€s death. This time last year Kobe 4s were barely selling out and the Kobe 5 Chaos wasnt too hard to get shortly after. The demand was not there and Nike in turn made what was justifiably. That all changed on January 26, 2020.

ShoePalace
They do this once in a while, and I dont know why, but they just dont drop on time and today they dragged it out so long for what felt like no reason. 350 pairs went really fast, its tough but I hope you learned something in that process because I can set people up with the same cart links for future drops and will do that going forward for major drops.

As usual, you either got lucky or didnâ€t but these sites are never fun options.

My take away…
That sucked, but it is what it is. I knew it would suck and Iâ€ve been trying to prepare you all for that as best as I could without crushing your hopes lol. The Kobe line will see improvements in stock and distribution in the coming years and maybe, just maybe, Nike will look at today and decide to restock the Grinch 6s in 2 years. I doubt it though.
