LeBron James makes history as his signature “crown” logo will be worn by Florida A&M’s men’s & women’s basketball uniforms as part of a new, 6-year partnership with the university. The FAMU men and women’s basketball teams will be outfitted in LeBron James signature-branded uniforms, apparel, and footwear, including colorways explicitly designed for the university, according to Nike’s announcement from earlier this year.
“Nike has long supported Florida A&M Athletics, and I’m committed to lifting up HBCU’s,” said James.
In addition to the uniforms, the Swoosh will also support Florida A&M Athletics’ student-athlete development programs, offer internships, and coordinate networking opportunities for Florida A&M students.
