While exclusive releases are nothing new to Nike, an upcoming release of theirs proves to be pretty outside of the box. Rather than focus on footwear or apparel, the brand plans on releasing a trio of limited-edition jigsaw puzzle based on vintage Nike ads from the 19070s and 80s. The three puzzles will be available exclusively through boutique stores. If you manage to get one of each puzzle you’ll be able to align each packages’ spines to spell out an oversized Nike logo that will look perfect in any bookshelf or display. The puzzles will release in three parts: one with the 1977 “NIKE WAFFLES MAKE FOOTWEAR NEWS” ad, 1986’s “BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL” ad, and 86’s “ON YOUR FEET OR IN YOUR WAY” ad. While the “Nike Waffles…” and “Be True” ads come in editions of 325, the “Be True…” ad has 1,125 copies.
