Maison Margiela, the fashion-house once helmed by its namesake Martin Margiela, has revealed their latest Reebok footwear collaboration. Releasing January 30th for $350, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi “Bianchetto” is a hybrid of two of the brands’ most beloved silhouettes. Inspired by one of the original tabi boots from Margiela’s 1980s runway shows, this Classic Leather actually features an all-black upper which is then covered in a layer of white paint. Over time, this white paint chips off and creates a distressed-style unique to each wearer. Maison Margiela x Reebok tongue tags and the iconic tabi split-toe cement the shoe as an early contender for one of 2021’s wildest sneakers.
