New Balance continues to tap into high fashion. With its A-list of collaborators, the Boston-based brand can be found from the runway to the street corners. New Balance and Miu Miu have launched a preorder of its 574 collection, which debuted during the SS22 show as the new year kicks off.
The Prada sister label was birthed in the early 1990s and has since become a force in fashion and streetwear alike. Miuccia Prada’s wardrobe and her family nickname materialized the label. Since its dawn, the Prada group built Miu Miu up to the high fashion brand it is today, known for its avant-garde and provocative style. With the help of New Balance, Miu Miu is doubling down on denim with three 574s that feature a deconstructed-like design, à la the sensation 2002R “Protection Pack” from last year.
The Miu Miu x New Balance 574 “Denim” collection appears in royal blue, white, and beige iterations with co-branded tongue tags, a distressed midsole, and raw-cut frayed edges.
