MSCHF Announces its Sneakers App with Upcoming TAP3 Release

MSCHF continues to raise eyebrows and shake things up within the sneaker industry.

Following the controversial “Satan Shoes” that resulted in a legal battle between Nike and MSCHF, the company has announced its all-new sneaker and sneaker release platform. The MSCHF TAP3 and the MSCHF Sneakers App will be the next frontier for the brand.

Inspired by Nike’s Air Force, the MSCHF TAP3 is built with an over-molded TPU tape on the upper. MSCHF adds that the shoe was built from scratch as it designed its sole, insole, and upper.

“The first thing every brand that’s trying to pivot into sneakers does is make a pseudo-AF1 with a star-tipped lighting bolt, a flag, etc., where the swoosh would normally go. That cultural ubiquity makes it an attractive target for MSCHF to play with. And let’s be honest…it is a bit cathartic for us to launch this particular shoe almost exactly a year after the release of Satan Shoes.” MSCHF stated in a press release.

The MSCHF TAP3 releases on March 21 at 11 a.m. EST for $220 on the MSCHF Sneakers App or a draw on MSCHF’s website. Additionally, the MSCHF Sneakers App will house monthly sneaker releases from the brand.
