New Balance continies to show love to the 550. The hardwood classic, resurrected by Aimé Leon Dore’s Teddy Santis, has become a cult classic in the last few years through general releases and eye-catching colorways.
The Boston-based brand is releasing a monochromatic version of the low-top with the upcoming New Balance 550 “Triple Black” iteration. Dressed in all-black, the NB 550 goes stealth mode in its upcoming look. Boding similarities to the upcoming COMME des GARÇONS pack, the latest 550 isn’t a bad compromise.
A release date for the New Balance 550 “Triple Black” has not been announced. However, we expect the pair to release for $110 on NewBalance.com and select retailers soon. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
