New Balance’s 610v1 has been treated to a hearty color scheme worthy of its outdoor bonafides.
The fan-favorite “Beef and Broccoli” treatment comes to the off-road sneaker that made its debut in 2012. A “Nightwatch Green” mesh makes up the base for the 610v1, with suede overlays appearing in “True Brown” for an arrangement reminiscent of the Chinese dish or that walk through the woods you may or may not ever go on. The colorway was first made popular by Timberland, but New Balance has embraced it recently on the 993, 90/60, and 580.
Down low you’ll find an aggressive, trail-ready Ndurance outsole in black paired with C-CAP cushioning inside the smoky midsole. New Balance just brought back the outdoor sneaker in 2022, as it updated the then-10-year-old sneaker with more modern technology. The 610v1 is yet another sneaker from NB’s archives almost tailor-made for the moment, although does remain somewhat of a sleeper. And now that it’s appearing in “Beef and Broccoli,” it’s really time to wake up.
The 610v1 “Beef and Broccoli” is out now through New Balance’s website for a quite palatable $110 with all sizes in stock. Download the DROPS by SoleSavy app to stay up-to-date on all the kicks worthy of your attention.
